Dr. William Reed is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiologists (FACC) and is board certified in Cardiology. He has been a practicing cardiologist in the Manahawkin, NJ area since 1996. He received his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He performed in internship at Metropolitan Hospital-Parkview division in Pennsylvania. Dr. Reed completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. He then completed a 4-year fellowship in adult cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mill, NJ.
His areas of interest include clinical cardiology, echocardiography, valvular heart disease, stress tests, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemakes, and automated implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD).
Outside of the practice of Cardiology, Dr. Reed’s interests include anything related to golf. He enjoys playing golf as much as possible, and if he cannot play golf, he is content watching golf. He is also an avid collector and viewer of horror films.
